Jask, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of artificial intelligence and advanced analytics for cybersecurity, secured more than $2m in seed funding.
The round was led by Battery Ventures with participation from Vertical Venture Partners and other investors.
The company will use the funds to develop its product and secure early customers.
Founded by Greg Martin, JASK is advancing an artificial intelligence and advanced analytics platform for cybersecurity. The company is building a predictive security operations center to allow companies to move limitations of existing security-management and monitoring solutions by leveraging artificial intelligence to make security measures more proactive and stay ahead of sophisticated cyber-attacks proliferating today.
JASK is targeting a product release for the second half of 2016.
