RetraceHealth Closed Seed Funding Round

RetraceHealth_LogoRetraceHealth, a Minneapolis-based provider of primary care through in-home and video visits, closed a seed funding round of undisclosed amount.

Backers included Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota (Blue Cross), HealthEast Care System (Minnesota), and McKesson Ventures and angel investors Julie Causey, Abir Sen, and Jeff Smedsrud.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand its reach in Minnesota as well as to new geographic areas outside the state.

Led by Thompson Aderinkomi, founder and CEO, RetraceHealth leverages technology to offer a care experience in which patients get direct access to clinical professionals via in-home video visits.
The offering currently includes:
Preventive care: One-on-one care to improve things like nutrition and sleep
Pediatric care: Get relief from earaches and colds and protection with vaccines
Primary care: Check-ups and physicals
Illness: Allergies to strep throat
Injury: Treating sprains, bumps, and scrapes
Labs: Testing available for high blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol, etc.
