Raw Shorts, a Miami, Florida-based provider of a platform that allows users to create explainer videos, raised $1.0m in Series A funding.
The round was led by New World Angels (NWA), with participation from prior investors Mosley Ventures (Atlanta) and Accelerated Growth Partners (Miami). In conjunction with the funding, Mr. Randy Wood, the New World Angels member who led the investment effort and one of the two co-founders of Citrix, joined Raw Shorts’ board.
The company will use the funds to make hires in product development and marketing.
Led by Antonio Otalvaro, CEO and Co-Founder, and technical Co-Founder George Estrella, Raw Shorts allows users to create explainer, demo, and marketing videos for the web via a SaaS-based drag and drop video builder in the cloud.
