ParkWhiz, a Chicago, IL-based on-demand parking app, raised $24m in Series C funding.
The round was led by Baird Capital with participation from growth capital investor Beringea and existing investor Jump Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to focus on continued mobile growth, accelerating new product development and acquire New York City-based BestParking.
Led by Aashish Dalal, co-founder and CEO, ParkWhiz provides ParkWhiz a free iOS or Android app that enables drivers to find and book parking at top parking facilities across the U.S. Through the acquisition of BestParking, ParkWhiz will have a comprehensive coverage in the country with more than 4,000 parking locations and over 800,000 spaces in over 50 major cities across North America.
The company is an official partner and parking provider for Ford, Concur, and StubHub among others.
