Limelight Platform Closes $3.1M in Seed Funding

Limelight_Platform_LogoLimelight Platform, Inc., a Toronto, Canada-based marketing automation technology company, closed $3.1m in seed funding.

The round was led by Rowanwood Ventures with participation from Jason Tryfon, Sandhill Angels, Hyde Park Ventures and Acceleprise Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its expansion into the U.S.

Launched in 2014 by Jonah Midanik, CEO, Limelight provides a cloud-based solution that lets marketers to plan, build, communicate and measure campaigns in one place. The platform gives brands the control to track and optimize the performance of live marketing activities such as experiential programs, test drives, trade shows, sponsorships, sampling programs and branded consumer events.
Clients include Allstate, BMW, Bosch, Heineken, Infiniti, Mercedes-Benz, and Scotiabank.

The company also has offices in San Francisco.
