Learn to Live, a Minneapolis, Minnesota-based online cognitive behavioral therapy company, raised over $1m in funding.
The round was led by Minnesota-based health plan Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota (Blue Cross) with participation from TreeHouse Health, Matchstick Ventures and angel investors Daren Cotter, CEO of InboxDollars.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its technology platform and extend their market reach.
Launched in 2013 by CEO Dale Cook and Chief Psychology Officer Dr. Russ Morfitt, Learn to Live provides online self-help programs to address psychological problems such as depression, social anxiety, stress, anxiety and worry.
In addition to providing programs directly to consumers, the company partners with large self-insured employers and health care providers.
