Jukedeck, a London, UK-based provider of a digital music creation platform, raised £2.0m in funding.
The round was led by Cambridge Innovation Capital (CIC), which first invested in Jukedeck in 2014, with participation from BACKED VC and others.
The company intends to use the funds to expand adoption of its product globally.
Led by Ed Rex, Founder & CEO, Jukedeck recently launched its first product, Jukedeck MAKE, which allows users to create using artificial intelligence. They can choose a style of music and other settings (such as mood, speed and exact duration) and a new piece of music based on those specifications is composed in an instant.
The product provides video creators with tools to source royalty-free, original music which is tailored precisely to their needs.
