Iterable, a San Francisco, CA-based growth marketing and user engagement platform, closed a $8m in Series A funding.
The round was led by Charles River Ventures with participation from existing investors (which included Merus Capital, 645 Ventures and others).
The company intends to use the funds to extend the functionality of its platform and grow its team.
Led by Justin Zhu, co-founder and CEO, Iterable allows marketers to segment hundreds of millions of users, personalize messages, build behavioral workflows and A/B test any aspect of a campaign. The platform then delivers messages across all channels, including email, mobile push notifications, SMS, web and social.
