Fusion Academy & Learning, a Grand Rapids, Michigan-based accredited alternative private school, secured a $15m loan from CapX Partners.
Fusion, a portfolio company of Winona Capital, will use the facility to expand into two new states (Pennsylvania and Illinois) as well as add new centers to existing states.
Led by Peter G. Ruppert, President and CEO, Fusion Academy is an accredited, alternative, private school for grades 6-12 with 28 centers located across the country including California, Texas, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Illinois.
The company utilizes a one-to-one model of instruction, offering its students a customized and personalized experience.
