Dermatology and MedSpa, Inc. (formerly known as The Dermatology Center), a dermatology and medspa services provider, received a controlling investment from Pharos Capital Group, LLC, a private equity firm based in Dallas and Nashville.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The company will use the proceeds to grow organically and via acquisitions.
Led by newly named CEO Steve Straus and founder and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Roberta Palestine, Dermatology and MedSpa offers a suite of medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology services across multiple locations in the Maryland/D.C. area.
The team consists of 11 board certified dermatologists, one board certified plastic surgeon, staff and clinical facilities including a surgery center.
