Alice Raises $9.5M in Series A Funding

alice-app-logoAlice, a New York City-based hospitality software startup, raised $9.5m in Series A funding.

The round was led by Expedia with participation from Laconia, 645 Ventures, and Neuehouse founders.

Led by Alex Shashou, co-founder, Alice provides a platform for hotels to receive, manage, and execute any guest or internal staff requests across every department and well as a suite of mobile solutions for guest communications and staff mobility.
The company serves hotels such as Gansevoort Hotel Group, The Setai Miami Beach, Viceroy and Dorint Hotels.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to build out the technology, expand the team hiring sales, engineering, product, and account management roles and to continue to roll out ALICE lite, a lightweight model for hotels to test the Guest Experience Management service at a lower cost.
