Tiger Global Management Closes Fund, at $2.5 Billion

Tiger Global Management, a NYC-based global investment firm, closed its latest fund, at $2.5 billion.

According to a regulatory filing with the S.E.C., a total of 520 investors participated in the offering of Tiger Global Private Investment Partners X, L.P.

The document lists Charles Coleman III, Scott Shleifer and Lee Fixel as people related with it.

Founded in 2001, Tiger Global operates two businesses – private equity partnerships and public equity funds. The firm’s private equity partnerships invest in growth companies in the global Internet and technology sectors while public equity funds focus on long-term trends in the technology, telecom, media, retail and consumer sectors.
