Siteimprove Receives $55M Investment

siteimproveSiteimprove A/S, a Copenhagen, Denmark- and Minneapolis-based provider of web governance software, raised $55m minority investment.

The round was led by Summit Partners. In conjunction with the funding, Antony Clavel, a Vice President at Summit Partners, and Han Sikkens, a Managing Director, will join Siteimprove’s Board of Directors.

The company intends to use the funds for the continued expansion of its global operations, sales and marketing as well as the development of its solutions for web governance.

Founded in Copenhagen in 2003 by Morten Ebbesen, CEO, Siteimprove provides a SaaS platform that enables marketers and web professionals to manage and optimize their web presence through automated quality assurance, accessibility compliance and analytics.
The company, which serves over 3,500 customers across a variety of industries including financial services, government, technology, pharmaceuticals, education and others, has 260 employees across eleven worldwide offices.
