Memblaze Closes Series C Financing

Memblaze, a Beiijng, China-based developer of Flash memory products, completed its Series C Round of financing of tens of millions of US dollars.

Backers included The General Technology Venture Capital Co., Ltd. (GTVC) – managed fund and Qualcomm Incorporated, through its venture investment group, Qualcomm Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to invest in technology R&D, hire new people, expand its sales channels, and strengthen cooperation with international chip, server and solution manufacturers, among other suppliers,

Co-founded in 2011 by Yin Xuebing and Lu Xiangfeng, Memblaze manufactures high quality flash storage products for the China market, and provides data processing acceleration services for large data centers.
The company has key customers in China, including Internet firms such as Baidu, Qihoo 360 and Tencent, offices and business development channels in North America and Europe and has built distribution systems in Japan, South Korea and Southeast Asia.
