Luxembourg for Finance released LUXFIN2020, a report for the development of the Luxembourg financial centre.
In the five-year plan report, Luxembourg for Finance oultlines the growth of the country as a leading financial centre over the past three decades. Thanks to its international position, the country has developed cross-border products and services in a variety of sectors including banking, investment funds, wealth management, insurance and capital markets.
Building on its core strengths, LUXFIN2020 identifies opportunities in other, newer sectors of the financial services arena envisioning three principal objectives:
1 — Consolidate and develop Luxembourg’s expertise in cross-border financial services
2 — Expand Luxembourg’s role as the European location of choice for global financial services providers
3 — Foster innovation and become a leader in digital financial services
