LookingGlass Cyber Solutions, an Arlington, Va.-based provider of threat intelligence driven security and dynamic threat defense solutions, raised $50m in Series C financing.
The round was led by NewSpring Capital with participation from Alsop Louie Partners and the Neuberger Berman Group.
The company also acquired Cyveillance, a provider of open-source threat intelligence (OSINT). The purchase will allow LookingGlass to add Cyveillance’s customer-specific customized solutions focused on unstructured and open source intelligence to enable broad visibility and understanding of risks and threats across the entire Internet and allow security teams to find and mitigate threats using threat, Internet and customized intelligence.
In addition to supporting the acquisition of Cyveillance, the capital will also be used to fund further growth initiatives including product development, further product integration, international expansion, sales, marketing and customer support.
