HomeTouch Raises Venture Capital Funding

hometouchHomeTouch, a London, UK-based online home care platform, raised a venture capital funding of undisclosed amount.

The round was led by Passion Capital.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate expansion across London, increase the number of vetted carers on the platform and expand features.

Founded by former NHS doctor Jamie Wilson in early 2015, HomeTouch provides an online platform to find vetted and experienced home carers. It uses a combination of technology, expert recommendations and flexible pricing to match families with local carers who possess the skills and experience which suit clients’ needs.
The company also runs educational events to help care professionals increase their knowledge and skills, boosting their long-term career prospects.
