Private equity funds affiliated with Hellman & Friedman LLC acquired a controlling stake in TeamSystem Holding SpA, an Italian software company.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed. The sellers were HgCapital (which will roll a minority portion of its proceeds into the new transaction), Bain Capital, ICG and TeamSystem’s management.
Following the investment, the management will continue to invest in the company, which aims to further accelerate growth and invest behind innovative products and service.
Founded in 1979 and led by Federico Leproux, CEO, TeamSystem is a provider of software applications to professionals and enterprises in Italy across different segments, offering a broad range of on-premise and on-cloud solutions to a diversified base of over 200,000 customers.
