DotDashPay, an Oakland , CA-based IoT payments platform, received the $250K UC Berkeley Challenge award.
DotDashPay will become part of the portfolio and community of Pejman Mar Ventures, which selected the winner.
The company will use the funds to accelerate their growth.
Led by Sean Arietta, Colorado Reed and Joey Mucha, DotDashPay creates a hardware and software platform that allows machine makers to implement payments and to accept credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Wallet, Android Pay, Bitcoin, etc. on nearly any machine.
