Collinson Group, a provider of an influencing customer behaviour platform, acquired idAlerts, a provider of identity protection solutions based in Canada.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The acquisition will enable Collinson Group to provide identity theft protection and support to its customers.
Led by Casey Goossens, CEO and founder, idAlerts protects the identity of thousands of individuals from the cost and worry of identity theft with a real-time technology platform that supports ID theft detection, protection and recovery, in addition to credit management capabilities. Through integrations with credit bureaux, TransUnion and Equifax, and a re-engineered credit report and authentication process, it can support individuals in a large number of global markets with a real-time identity management service.
Goossens will continue to run business operations at the company’s office in Toronto, expanding Collinson Group’s presence in North America and reporting to Chairman Colin Evans.
