Shore Capital Partners, a Chicago-based private equity firm focused exclusively on microcap healthcare investments, completed the recapitalization of Specialdocs Consultants, LLC, a provider of consulting services to physicians transitioning from traditional medical practices to independent, personalized medicine models, also known as “membership” or “concierge” medicine.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
Founded in 2002 by Roberta Greenspan and also led by principal Michael Friedlander, Specialdocs provides initial transition services as well as continuing post-transition support to physicians including patient communication, accounting and membership fee processing, patient outreach and marketing programs, and ongoing staff and physician training.
The company has provided services to almost 150 physicians in 30 states.
