Open Angler Raises $500K in Funding

openanglerOpen Angler, a Charleston, S.C.-based online reservation service dedicated to the fishing charter industry, raised $500K in funding.

The company intends to use the funds to grow the business nationwide.

Launched in April 2015 by CEO Alicia Aloe and CTO Eddie Edenfield, Open Angler provides fishing guides with tools to run their businesses, maximize bookings, manage operations and connect with charter fishing customers and referral partners.
The platform features customer relationship management tools and point of sale capabilities, is free to fishing guides, outfitters, marinas, resorts and referral partners.
Through the online marketplace, fishing guides can increase their web presence and connect directly with anglers looking to hire a charter.
