Motorsport.com Acquires Wildsoft

motorsport_wildsoftMotorsport.com, a Miami, FL-based provider of a diverse motorsports digital platform, acquired Wildsoft, a F1, MotoGP, NASCAR and other major racing series statistical database.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

The acquisition marked the beginning of Motorsport.com’s strategic business initiative of standardizing – through acquisition and in-house development – the industry’s largest motorsports statistical database in 2016.
Formed in 1994 and led by Filippo Salza, interim president, Motorsport.com is a technologically advanced international network of online motorsports content featuring digital distribution, video and interactive multimedia worldwide with news bureaus in 15 countries in 11 different languages in over 180 countries.

As a part of the Motorsport.com team, Dmitry Cherepovich, owner of Wildsoft, will lead the technical development and integration of the statistical database for multiple series’ on the digital platform.

Established in 1995, Wildsoft has been tracking F1 and stats and figures since 1950, delivering statistical content to racing fans and local motorsport media.
