Kuddly, a Newport Beach, CA-based mobile pet health care marketplace, raised $1.5m in seed funding.
Exponential Partners made the investment.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to innovate the platform and expand operations.
Launched late summer this year by Lucy O’Byrne, DVM, CVA, Kuddly operates a marketplace using mobile Internet technology to bring affordable, professional pet health care advice to pet owners directly via veterinarians worldwide.
It is available in both the Apple App Store for iOS and Google Play store for Android devices. There is also a Chrome App version only for veterinarians who want to use their laptops or desktops.
