Imperus Acquires Akamon Entertainment Millennium for $23.9M

Imperus Technologies Corp. (TSX-VENTURE: LAB, Frankfurt: ISX, Frankfurt WKN: A12B58), a developer of social and mobile gaming for PC, Mac, iOS and Android platforms, completed the acquisition of Akamon Entertainment Millennium, S.L., a Barcelona, Spain-based social gaming company, for US$23.9m.

As the result of the acquisition, Akamon is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of Imperus. The Akamon management team will include the existing Akamon senior officers.

Led by Vicenç Martí, CEO, Akamon is a developer and operator of social casino and traditional games focused in Latin-American and South European markets.
The company’s global gaming community has 23 million registered users in 7 countries through local portals in Italy, France, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela and Argentina.
Akamon has development offices in Barcelona, Valencia and Tel Aviv.
