BridgeU Raises $2.5M in Funding

bridgeUBridgeU, a London, UK-based university preparation tools startup, raised $2.5m in funding.

The round was led by Octopus Investments, with participation from Fresco Capital, Seedcamp, Jonnie Goodwin and Deborah Quazzo.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations.

Led by Lucy Stonehill and Hywel Carver, BridgeU provides a SaaS-based adaptive university preparation & application tool for students. The solution uses algorithms and machine learning to match students and fitting university programs, position them as applicants, and help manage the preparation and application process on their behalf.
The company won Berlin Seedcamp in 2014.
