AppDome, a NYC-based provider of dynamic mobile application security-as-a-service, closed $13m Series A funding.
The round was led by Menlo Ventures with participation from JVP (Jerusalem Venture Partners) and OurCrowd, along with new investor Draper Nexus.
The company will use the funds to expand operations.
Led by Tal Gilat, CEO, and Avi Yehuda, CTO, AppDome provides dynamic app wrapping technology that protects enterprise and consumer apps along with their data. The solution is used globally by financial, healthcare and e-commerce companies to defend mobile apps from attack vectors such as malware, man-in-the-middle, pharming, and data harvesting.
