Pyramid Analytics, a Seattle, WA-based business intelligence (BI) platform for the enterprise, completed a $30m equity round of funding.
The round was led by Viola Private Equity, with participation from Sequoia Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to expand the workforce, deepen strategic alliances with partners, advance its channel ecosystem efforts, and enhance market penetration in key segments.
Led by Omri Kohl, co-founder and CEO, Pyramid Analytics provides professionals in large public and private enterprises with a platform to analyze, monitor, and report data. The company’s flagship suite, BI Office, enables rapid connectivity of new data sources and interactive visualizations, through a familiar interface.
Organizations using the platform include large government agencies like the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and Fortune 500 enterprises including Siemens, EMC, HP and others.
