Mobilengine, a Boston, MA-based provider of a business-to-employee mobile application development platform, raised over $5m in Series A venture capital funding.
Backers included Valor Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations in Construction, Telecommunications, Equipment Rental, Manufacturing, Logistics, Retail and HealthCare sectors.
Led by Adam Dalnoki, founder, Mobilengine offers a mobile application development platform which enables organizations to develop, launch, manage and monitor mobile enterprise workflow applications to employees.
Clients currently include organizations such as Siemens, McGee, 3M and Citibank, as well as companies in a variety of other industries.
The company, which also has offices in London and Budapest, also has integration partnerships with major telecommunications firms such as T-Systems, Vodafone and Atos.
