LetsVenture Raises Series A Funding

letsventureLetsVenture, a Bangalore, India-based online funding platform for startups, raised its Series A funding round.

The round, whose amount was not disclosed, was led by Accel Partners and Anupam Mittal. According to the Economic Times, Times Internet, Singapore Angels, IDG Ventures India, Rishad Premji, Mohandas Pai, Girish Mathrubootham, Rohit Bansal Nandan Nilekani, and Kunal Bahl, among others, also participated in the funding.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and attract global investors.

Founded in 2013 by CEO Shanti Mohan and Sanjay Jha, LetsVenture enables startups looking to raise seed / angel money to create investment ready profiles online, and connect to accredited Investors.
The company also offers services such as business plan reviews from experts, connection to mentors and a Commitment-to-Closure package, which allows startups to close deal with investors following verbal commitments.
In September, LetsVenture, in collaboration with Sylvant Advisors, launched The Edcubator, an Education-sector-focused virtual incubator.
