KeepTruckin, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of a platform for trucking companies to manage their fleets and have their drivers legally log their hours, raised $8m in Series A funding.
Backers included Index Ventures and Google Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, Ilya Fushman, partner at Index, will join KeepTruckin’s board.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to invest in product and customer service.
Led by Shoaib Makani, CEO, KeepTruckin provides a mobile first electronic logs & fleet management platform which features an electronic logbook app for drivers and a complimentary web application that lets fleet managers and dispatchers view and audit their drivers’ logs, track their location, exchange messages.
