Gypsum Technologies Inc., a Burlington, Ontario, Canada-based global leader in machinery and systems for the wallboard industry, received a growth equity investment from Wynnchurch Capital.
The amount of the private equity deal was not disclosed. Wynnchurch has invested alongside Gyptech’s management team and employees.
The company intends to use the funds for strategic growth on a global scale.
Incorporated in 1993 and led by Gary Murray, CEO, Gyptech provides complete solutions for automated gypsum board plants that convert raw gypsum into finished wallboard.
The company currently has offices in North America, Europe and South America.
