Gobble, a Palo Alto, CA-based provider of gourmet meal kits, raised $10.75 in Series A funding.
The round was led by Trinity Ventures with participation from Rohan Oza, Andreessen Horowitz, Fenox VC, Initialized Capital and Anjula Acharia-Bath. In conjunction with the funding, Ajay Chopra, a general partner at Trinity Ventures, joined Gobble’s board.
The company will use its the funds to expand its engineering team towards enhancing its technology.
Led by Ooshma Garg, founder and CEO, Gobble delivers freshly prepared ingredients for a meal that can be cooked in 10 minutes. All ingredients are pre-portioned, pre-chopped, pre-mixed, and pre-cooked.
The company leverages technology to quantify diet preferences, daily eating habits and food cravings and optimize the service’s supply chain.
