Entrenar.me Raises €205K in Funding

entrenarme-logoEntrenar.me, a Valencia, Spain-based platform that connects people to personal trainers, closed a €205k funding round.

The round was led by SeedSyndicates, with participation from Sensu Invest, Plug and Play Spain, Blueline Sportswear, and the Valencian Institute of Finance.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to grow nationwide and in LatAm and develop a mobile app.

Founded by Diego Moya and Sebastien Borreani, Entrenar.me operates a platform for people to find, compare and choose from over 2,500 vetted personal trainers for such activities as nutritionists, pilates, running, pádel, swimming, etc.
The platform also features tools for trainers to expand their customer base while an e-store offers deals for customers to buy sport equipment. The web site also has a Q&A section where people can ask questions about such subjects as diet and fitness.
