CabbyGo, a Pittsburgh, PA-based developer of a rideshare app, secured a second round of funding.
The amount of the deal and the names of the backers were not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funds to complete the technology build out and enter more domestic and select worldwide markets.
Led by Joshua Freedman, Founder and CEO, CabbyGo provides a ride-finding app offering an “auction” platform, where drivers can bid on rides – driving the prices down.
The company expects to begin a third round of funding to facilitate further expansion within the next several months.
