Saucey Secures $4.5M in Seed Funding

sauceySaucey, a Los Angeles, CA-based alcohol delivery platform, secured $4.5m in seed funding.

The round was led by Blumberg Capital with participation from Structure Capital, Altpoint Ventures, T5 Capital, HashTagOne, Scooter Braun, Phil MacIntyre, Nick and Joe Jonas, Terrence Jenkins of E! News and others.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its customer base, introduce advanced purchasing tools for consumers and further their data/advertising capabilities with major alcohol brands.

Led by Chris Vaughn, CEO, Saucey operates an alcohol delivery platform for customers to order beer, wine, spirits or cocktails from their web browser, iPhone or Android mobile device. The platform uses their own trained couriers.
Launched in May, 2014, the company currently serves Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego and Chicago.
