PeerIQ, a New York City-based financial information services company, secured $2.5m in seed funding.
Backers included Victory Park Capital, Fenway Summer Ventures, Uprising and former Morgan Stanley Chairman and CEO John Mack.
The company, which raised $6m in seed funding earlier in 2015, will use the funds to accelerate new feature development for its risk analytics platform, grow its institutional investor client base, and hire additional tech and client delivery talent.
Led by Ram Ahluwalia, co-founder and CEO, PeerIQ provides a financial information platform that provides institutional investors with tools for analyzing, accessing, and managing risk in the peer-to-peer lending market.
