MetaCommunications Inc., an Iowa City, IA-based developer of software solutions for marketing and creative teams worldwide, closed an $8M growth funding round.
The round was led by Next Level Ventures with participation from St. Martin Land Company.
The company intends to use the funds to expand sales and marketing efforts, support new business partnerships, recruit additional talent and further develop its technologies.
Led by Bob Long, the CEO and co-founder, MetaCommunications provides marketing and creative teams with tools to improve project management, online proofing, digital asset management, financial management etc.
Its software solutions, including Workgroups DaVinci, Approval Manager and the newly-launched ProofMe, are used by creative teams at leading brands, including Crate & Barrel, Pfizer, Merck, Sony, Staples and Yamaha.
