Main Capital Partners Closes Software Focused Private Equity Fund, at € 85M

Den Haag, The Netherlands-based private equity firm Main Capital Partners closed a new software sector-focused private equity fund, at € 85m.

Limited partners includes a number of large institutional investors and (emerging) family offices and private investors with a business background.

Main Capital IV, which had an initial target of €75m, focuses on the software industry in the Benelux and Germany (one third of the fund will be deployed in Germany).
It makes management buy-outs (MBOs) and growth investments in software companies with substantial sales (from €4m) and customer base.
In early July, the fund has already invested in software company Roxit holding, which produces and sells software to Dutch municipalities and Regional Implementing Services.
