Envoy Raises $3M in Seed Financing

envoy-full-logo-white-greenEnvoy, a San Francisco, CA-based Family Concierge service for seniors and family caregivers, raised $3m in seed financing.

The round was led by SoftTech VC, with participation from Lowercase Capital, ENIAC Ventures, Structure Capital, Technicolor Ventures, and Vayner/RSE and angel investors Douglas Feirstein (Founder of LiveOps, Hired), Raj Gajwani, Fabrice Grinda & Jose Marin of FJ Labs, Edward Park (COO of Athenahealth), Gary Swart (former CEO of ODesk), and Tyler Willis. In conjunction with the funding, Stephanie Palmeri of SoftTech VC, joined Envoy’s Board of Directors.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations.

Founded by Justin Lin, Envoy provides a family concierge service for seniors and their families offered on a subscription basis via assistants, known as Envoys, who are all connected through a mobile/cloud platform. It is now live in 17 major markets across seven states San Antonio, Texas; San Francisco, Oakland/East Bay, San Jose, Sacramento, Santa Cruz, Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, Orange County, Inland Empire, Ventura County, San Diego, California; Portland, Oregon; Seattle, Washington; Las Vegas, Nevada; Denver, Colorado; Phoenix, Arizona.
The service is protected by a $1M liability insurance policy through Lloyd’s of London.
