CBanc Network, an Austin, TX-based professional network for bank and credit union professionals, raised $3.05m in equity funding.
According to a regulatory filing with the S.E.C., six backers have already have participated in the offering. Their names remained undisclosed.
Led by Bryan Koontz, Chief Executive Officer, who served as VP and General Manager at Vast.com, Inc., a web search & analytics company, and Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Software Division of Tripos, Inc., a publicly-traded life sciences company, CBANC operates a professional network for the banking industry allowing verified financial professionals and their institutions to make more intelligent vendor decisions, navigate compliance challenges, and answer questions.
The platform allows users to collaborate to solve real problems at work, share documents, build industry reputation, manage vendors and learn via webinars, etc.
