BeneStream Raises $2M in Series A Funding

Benestream-LogoBeneStream, a NY-based health technology company, raised $2m in Series A funding.

Backers included BlueCross BlueShield Venture Partners and Sandbox Advantage Fund. In conjunction with the funding, Anna Haghgooie, Managing Director of Sandbox Industries, will represent BlueCross BlueShield Venture Partners on the Board.

The Series A round now totals $6.26m.

The company intends to use the funds to grow at national scale.

Led by Ben Geyerhahn, CEO and Co-Founder, BeneStream is a health technology company that connects qualified employees to government health benefits. Its product, Medicaid Migration™, helps workers access affordable, quality health coverage and other benefits.
The solution, utilizes the Medicaid expansion portion of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) which makes access to healthcare coverage more affordable for many employees and their families who weren’t previously eligible, informs employees if they qualify for government sponsored health insurance.
