Vet24seven Raises $1.2M in Seed Funding

Vet24seven-logoVet24seven, a Santa Clara-based is an on-demand virtual veterinary service developed by veterinarians for veterinarians and pet owners, raised $1.2m in its Series Seed 2 funding.

The round was led by Launch Capital, a Life Science Angels (LSA) member.

Launched in the Bay Area in July 2015 by Cal Lai, chief executive officer, Vet24seven provides a free mobile app that provides access via live video or chat to local veterinarians.
The app for animal owners can be downloaded to an Apple iPhone from the Apple App Store; an Android version will be available this fall. It allows owners to create their animal’s profile, pair their animal with the veterinarian of choice, select the level of urgency, and choose whether they want a live video or chat consultation.
