Unify Square, a Bellevue, Washington-based provider of solutions for Microsoft Lync/Skype for Business, raised $4m in additional funding to close a $12.2m in Series B round (firstly announced in February 2015 here) .
Backers included Microsoft, Bridge Bank, Stanford University, and other original investors (Former executives at Ariba, Yahoo, and IBM).
The company intends to use the new funds to
– Enhance support for its existing 5 million Lync/Skype for Business seats
– Expand global customer base
– Innovate on-premise and cloud capabilities, and
– Accelerate adoption of Skype for Business
Led by Sonu Aggarwal, CEO, Unify Square provides solutions software and services designed to monitor and manage Skype for Business in Fortune 500 enterprises. The company is a Microsoft partner with offices in the United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland, India and Singapore.
