Ressy, a Pune, India-based restaurant discounts startup, closed a $400K angel round of funding.
Backers included Vikram Chachra (Eight Capital), Mohandas Pai, Akshay Garg, Jeljo Johny Kottoor (ProV Venture Investments) and Ketharaman Swaminathan.
The company intends to use the funds to expand into new sectors such as wellness, adventure, and retail.
Co-founded by Sagar Patil and Koustubh, Ressy provides a mobile app providing discounts at local restaurants in real-time. It currently covers restaurants in Pune and Goa.
