Crescerance Receives Undisclosed Series A Funding

Crescerance_logoCrescerance, an Atlanta, GA-based EdTech company, received a Series A round of private funding of undisclosed amount.

BIP Capital, a growth capital investor, provided the financial resources.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its growth efforts.

Led by Alefiya Bhatia, CEO, Crescerance has created the MAD-learn, a learning platform and curriculum to teach students how to build mobile apps, and Embr, a mobile communications platform for schools and districts across the world.
The MAD-learn platform allows students to create their own mobile applications using an online platform coupled with lesson plans and curriculum delivered through the company’s partnerships with public and private schools. Currently, thousands of apps have been created by students with MAD-learn, many of which are live apps on Google Play, iTunes App Store, and the Windows Store.
The Embr mobile communication solution allows schools, districts and educational associations to communicate and engage in real time with their constituents.
