ChyronHego, a Melville, N.Y.-based global leader in broadcast graphics creation, playout and real-time data visualization, acquired VidiGo, an Amsterdam, the Netherlands-based provider of IT-based software solutions for live broadcast production workflows.
Led by Hans Krouwels, CEO, VidiGo provides a suite of tools for the creation and management of broadcast-quality video content.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed. The acquisition will allow ChyronHego to take advantage of opportunities in broadcast news, sports, and nontraditional markets such as corporate and public-sector video production.
