Beat the Q Posse Group, a Sidney, Australia-based cafe services startup, raised $5m in series A funding.
The round was led by Reinventure with participation from Exto Partners.
The company intends to use the funds for product development and operation scaling.
Led by Adam Theobald, CEO, Beat the Q provides an app to order and pay for a cafe order online. Available on any internet enabled phone, tablet or computer, it enables people to pre-order at their favourite cafe, and pickup the order when they get there. The combined company of Beat the Q, Posse and eCoffeeCard, it will rebrand its app (Beat the Q to Hey You) from August 10, with new features from all three brands.
