SlimPay Raises €15M in Funding

slimpaySlimPay, a Paris, France-based recurring payment solutions provider, raised €15m in funding.

The investor was Prime Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds for its growth in France and internationally.

Founded in 2009 by Jérôme Traisnel and Jean-Louis Hoenen, SlimPay specializes in recurring payments – subscriptions and repeat purchases – thanks to its expertise regarding the digitalization of SEPA direct debits. It allows companies and organizations to set up subscriptions offers to customers and collect recurring payments. The company’s solutions encourage subscriptions by providing a multilingual and multichannel (Internet, phone, store) product. In 2014, it processed €2.4 billion.

SlimPay is an authorized payment institution accredited by the French Prudential and Resolution Supervisory Authority (Autorité de Contrôle Prudentiel et de Résolution – ACPR) through the Banque de France (Authorization No. 16348). It is a member of the organizations FranceDigitale and AFEPAME.
