SkyKick, a Seattle, WA-based global provider of cloud management software for IT solution providers, secured $10m in strategic financing.
Backers included Navin Thukkaram, Tim Ferriss, Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg, and several strategic private equity investors.
The company, which has raised $17.2m, intends to use the funds to accelerate product development, and expand sales and marketing efforts.
Led by Todd Schwartz, co-founder and co-CEO, SkyKick provides cloud management products that enable IT partners to migrate, backup and centrally manage cloud data and services for cloud products such as Microsoft Office 365 and Dropbox. Combined with its Migration Suites, IT providers have one unified platform with integrated applications to grow their cloud customer base and create more operational efficiency in managing their customers in the cloud.
The company’s new line of products include: Cloud Backup, Cloud Manager annd Cloud Migration products which are used by over 5,000 partners worldwide.
